Our National Judge
We are thrilled to have Judge Hans Norsborg Almgren from Sweden as our judge
Judge Almgren has worked with the following breeds;
Sheepdogs and Cattle Dogs (except Swiss Cattle Dogs), Pinscher and Schnauzer – Molossoid Breeds – Swiss Mountain and Cattle Dogs, Dachshunds, Spitz and Primitive types, Scenthounds and Related Breeds, Companion and Toy Dogs, Sighthounds
A Technician by profession, Hans has owned dogs since 1976, and was first licensed to judge at CC shows in 1995. His own breed is the Shih Tzu, some of his famous dogs are: Ch Anibes X-tra Special Oliver, Ch WW-95 Bombers Red Riding Hood, and Ch Anibes Orange Orchid. The first Champion of Champions in Sweden was his dog and three world winners were bred by Hans. One other breed he kept was the Briard. Fluent in English and German, Hans has judged in Austria, Sweden, Norway, Ireland, England, Finland, Australia (Oriental Breeds Society Specialty Show, WA 2006), England and Finland.
